Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Service Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and enhancing our urban and suburban landscapes! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for executing safe, efficient tree care, trimming, and landscape maintenance projects. Your expertise will help ensure healthy, beautiful trees and landscapes that elevate community environments. Duties Safely operate bucket trucks, cranes, and other equipment to access trees at various heights for pruning, trimming, or removal. Perform tree care tasks including pruning, shaping, cabling, bracing, and removal with precision and attention to safety standards. Use rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or sections during tree removal or pruning projects. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping to improve site aesthetics. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and documenting work sites and tree inventories. Assist with growing experience in horticulture by identifying plant health issues and recommending appropriate treatments. Maintain equipment including bucket trucks and safety gear, ensuring all tools are in excellent working condition. Experience Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or related outdoor maintenance roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of rigging techniques and bucket operation is highly desirable. Familiarity with GIS applications or landscape management software is a plus. Demonstrated interest or background in horticulture or plant sciences supports success in this role. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols. Growing experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care enhances your ability to contribute across multiple project types.
