Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Service Worker for AT&TREES LLC, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining healthy, beautiful landscapes through expert tree care and maintenance. This energetic position offers opportunities to work with climbing gear, bucket trucks, and ground equipment to safely and efficiently prune, trim, and remove trees. Responsibilities Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and lifts to access high branches or perform elevated work efficiently and securely. Serve as a ground person by assisting with rigging, debris removal, and supporting climbing operations. Conduct equipment inspections, rigging setups, and ensure all safety protocols are followed during tree work. Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning tree maintenance routes when applicable. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general landscaping to support overall site health. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including tree conditions, rigging setups, and safety checks. Requirements Proven growing experience in tree care, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a passion for arboriculture. Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and confidently; previous experience with bucket operation is highly preferred. Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting heavy limbs or equipment in tree work environments. Familiarity with GIS mapping tools for planning or documenting work zones is a plus. Strong understanding of tree trimming, pruning standards, and overall tree health management. Physical fitness to climb trees, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions. Valid certifications related to tree care or landscaping are advantageous; willingness to learn new skills is essential.
