Geeks Who Drink is on a mission to provide the best pub quiz experience to the United States, and we need talented part-time quizmasters - you know, the one running the show - to help make that happen! Requirements:You must be at least 21 to be hired.You must own a working laptop, plus something to take pictures with.You must be staying in your area for at least a year.You must be able to work on evenings with an arrival time of 6 or 6:30pm.Most quizzes begin at 7pm.Availability for M, Tues, W, and Th nights, or a combination of those Applicants who've played Geeks Who Drink, Small Batch Trivia, or Jeopardy! Bar League are strongly preferred.(Check out our quizzes on our YouTube channel.) Responsibilities:Entertain a crowd and command the room.If you're a teacher, tour guide, actor, etc., then you'll fit right in! General proficiency with technology.Hosting requires a web-based app as do responsibilities before and after the quiz night.Complete online and/or in-person training on the use of our systems, plus basic AV setup and hosting skills.Perks:Earn sick pay based on events worked Referral bonuses for helping us hire other hosts or sign new venues Pretending you already knew all of the answers Getting paid to learn stuff and create a fun experience Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $20.00 per hour Application Question(s):Have you applied on our website?
