Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take charge of transporting freight efficiently and safely across various routes. In this vital role, you will operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Your expertise in driving and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across designated routes. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary. Drive in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies, ensuring safety at all times. Manage route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and report any issues promptly. Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status or any unforeseen delays. Experience Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on freight transportation. Hands-on experience operating manual transmission vehicles and specialized trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly preferred. Delivery driver experience demonstrating load & unload capabilities across diverse cargo types. Familiarity with route driving logistics and navigation tools to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts safely when required. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated.
