Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, As a key player in our logistics network, you'll ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in driving and load management will keep our operations running smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, to transport freight across designated routes Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipmentensuring proper handling and securement of goods Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit Assist with special delivery requirements such as refrigerated loads or tanker shipments when necessary Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for the types of trucks operated (e.g., tanker, refrigerated) Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; prior delivery driver experience is highly valued Proficiency in operating automatic and manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with various truck types including flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual methods; experience with freight handling is preferred Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices to ensure timely deliveries Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance Physical ability to perform duties that may include lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
