Job Summary North Dakota Grain Inspection Inc.provides official commercial inbound truck lot sampling, grading and weighing under the United States Grain Standards Act.USGSA Federally approved labs are set up on site and staffed by USGSA certified employees.Every truck lot that enters the facilities are sampled using an approved mechanical hydraulic probe.The sample is then tested and issued a USDA grade.The grade results are entered into a computer program that is accessible to the elevator employees.Specific tests include test weight/bushel, moisture %, dockage %, foreign material % and damage kernel total.The truck lots are weighed in, dumped into specific storage bins in correlation to their grade designation, and weighed out.The truck driver then receives a scale ticket for the load.We have truck lab locations in Casselton, ND; Ayr, ND; Hillsboro, ND; and Pillsbury, ND.Upon hire, we will determine a designated truck lab location that you will primarily be stationed out of, however, there are times that we do have to have shift employees around to help cover at another location when needed.Drive time to and from the truck lab locations is paid and in a company provided vehicle.Normal shifts are around 9-10 hours in length with minimal breaks Typical start and end times are from 6am to 4pm During Harvest (August through November) long hours on week days and with some Saturday's and Sunday's No time off will be given during Harvest season Responsibilities and Duties Maintain accurate work records Sample Trucks Insure accurate testing and inspection Qualifications and Skills Ability to bend/lift over 50 lbs.Be moving through entirety of shift Be physically able to work in grain dust conditions Work longer hours past regular shift when needed during harvest Eligibility to drive company vehicles (Clean driving record) No experience required Benefits Include:Paid Time Off 8 Paid Holidays 401k Contribution plan Medical Insurance through BCBS (Employer contributes some towards the plan) HSA plans available Dental Insurance through The Standard Vision Insurance through The Standard Life Insurance and Supplemental Insurances through The Standard Employees are eligible for benefits after completion of the 30 day eligibility period after being hired.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s):Have you received 3 or more vehicle moving violations in the last 3 years?
