Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Trucking Dispatcher to coordinate and manage freight transportation operations efficiently.In this vital role, you will serve as the central communication hub between drivers, carriers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and optimal fleet utilization.Your proactive approach, combined with strong technical skills in transportation management systems and analysis, will drive operational success and customer satisfaction.This position offers a dynamic environment where your organizational skills and transportation expertise will make a tangible impact on our logistics network.Responsibilities Coordinate daily dispatch activities for freight shipments, ensuring accurate routing and scheduling using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine.Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and clients via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear communication at all times.Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and respond swiftly to any delays or issues during transit.Input and maintain accurate data entry records related to shipping & receiving, freight movements, and fleet management using AS400 or similar platforms.Collaborate with logistics teams to plan transportation routes aligned with supply chain demands and transportation planning strategies.Manage shipping documentation, freight schedules, and dispatch logs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in dispatching, freight handling, or fleet utilization.Experience Proven experience in transportation management or logistics dispatching within a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with GIS, GPS tracking systems, and transportation planning tools such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine.Strong understanding of supply chain processes, freight movement, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management principles.Demonstrated analysis skills to interpret data from transportation management systems (TMS) like AS400 or 3PL platforms for decision-making.Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally while maintaining clear documentation.Experience working with logistics software including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Oracle Transportation Management, or similar platforms is highly preferred.Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in data entry and dispatching tasks.Join us as a Trucking Dispatcher where your proactive coordination ensures seamless freight operations!
