Position: Tulip Developer Location: Boston, MA Duration: 12 Month Contract Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Tulip, MES, Pharmaceutical domain knowledge, Roles & Responsibilities Position Overview Seeking a hands-on Tulip Developer with strong experience in building and integrating manufacturing applications using the Tulip platform. The role involves app development, system integrations, and shop-floor connectivity in Industry 4.0 environments. 3-6 years in manufacturing systems / MES / industrial automation. Strong hands-on experience with Tulip (Apps, Tables, Connectors). REST APIs, JSON, SQL (complex queries). Knowledge of OPC UA, MQTT, and shop-floor device integration. JavaScript for advanced logic (preferred). Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy Tulip applications (Triggers, Tables, Connectors, Analytics). Build REST API integrations with MES/ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred). Configure Tulip Edge Devices, OPC UA, MQTT, and connect PLCs & shop-floor equipment. Design data models, dashboards, and KPI reporting (OEE, downtime, scrap). Develop workflows for process automation, recipe execution, elogbooks, etc., Implement secure authentication (OAuth2/API Keys) and ensure system performance. Support Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 support for tulip applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and user issues. Troubleshoot configuration, data, workflow, and integration related problems. Coordinate with global teams to maintain consistent and high-quality support coverage. Required Qualifications 7-10 years of software development experience, preferably in enterprise systems. 3-4+ years of hands-on Tulip development. HTML, CSS, JavaScript programming for UI enhancements. 5+ years of experience developing or consuming RESTful APIs. Strong experience with dat
