About us Battle Born Tutoring (battleborntutoring.com) is a small, woman owned business in Reno, NV.We are innovative, rewarding, and challenging.Our goal is to provide optimal educational services to help students succeed in their classes.Due to the nature of the business, the applicant must have access to a vehicle which they can use to travel to the students home.We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Math tutor to join our team.The candidate will have a strong academic background in the subjects they are tutoring and will be able to provide tutoring services to students from Pre-Kindergarten through 1college.The Tutor must be able to support their students in order to ensure that they are successful in their studies.The ideal candidate will be patient, organized, and have a passion for helping students reach their full potential. We are specifically looking for someone who will be able to tutor elementary through high school AP Calculus classes.College students are encouraged to apply! Responsibilities:Develop lesson plans for students of all ages and abilities.Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.Provide individualized instruction to students in math and/or other subjects.Assist students in developing study skills and organizational skills.Motivate students to reach their full potential.Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.Job Type:Contract Pay:$22.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Education:Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience:Teaching or Tutoring:1 year (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
