Twisting Operator - Afternoon / Night Shifts

Shaw Industries is seeking Twisting Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts.Schedules include Monday-Friday from 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and Sunday night through Thursday night from 11:00 PM-7:00 AM.Position Overview:(Hablar ingles no es un requisito)Once you apply for this position, your application will be reviewed and if you meet the requirements, you will receive an invitation to schedule a time to interview with a member of our management team.More details will be provided on the invitation.What you'll be doing:Candidate will be hired into a team system where he/she will be required to learn different manufacturing job functions/skill blocks.Positions available in various manufacturing departments including: Twisting Op Position Responsibilities: Perform creeling procedures to include threading and tie-in of yarn using a weaver's knot and pop knot air splicer as required. Patrol job and check for breakouts. Perform doffing procedures to include removal of full packages of yarn, stacking on buggies or cases, and replacing with empty cones. Startup ends, repair broken ends, and replace ends into machines. Monitor/patrol job, check for off-quality yarn for reprocessing and check machine creel and winder for correct thread-up. Keep work areas clean and safe. Communicate quality/safety/mechanical problems or concerns to the supervisor.
