Unarmed Retail Security Officer(Tier 1)

Retail Position We are seeking a Tier 1 Security Specialist to provide professional, uniformed security services at a retail facility.This role requires a strong customer service mindset while ensuring the safety and security of the premises.Minimum Requirements California Guard Card issued by BSIS Minimum 2 years of security experience High School Diploma or GED Reliable transportation Customer service Experience:1 year Primary Responsibilities Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Remain alert, vigilant, and responsive to security incidents Monitor and patrol retail store premises, enforcing site policies Observe, report, and document incidents accurately Maintain electronic logs per company policy Deter theft and unauthorized activity through visible security presence Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining security protocols Required Skills & Competencies Strong customer service skills Ability to demonstrate leadership and authority in security situations Strong problem-solving abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills High attention to detail Physical Requirements Prolonged standing, walking, and patrolling Capability to work in various indoor retail environments Ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person Weekly pay Schedule:10 hour shift if needed 12 hour shift if needed 8 hour shift Day and Evening shift Holidays On call Overtime as needed Weekends Work Location:In person Pay:$18.50 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
