Unarmed Security Officer Unarmed Security Officer Location:Aberdeen, SD Job Type:Full-Time Schedule:Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Pay Rate:$17.50 per hour Overview:We are seeking a dependable Unarmed Security Officer to support daily operations at an agricultural and processing-related facility.This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule.Responsibilities:Conduct routine patrols of grounds, gates, and facility perimeters Monitor employee/visitor access and ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas Observe and report any unusual, unsafe, or suspicious activity Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports Respond to alarms or disturbances in a calm and professional manner Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, medical needs, or safety alerts Uphold all company security protocols and maintain a visible, professional presence Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding security or safety matters Requirements:Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work the day shift schedule Strong situational awareness and observation skills Ability to remain alert and attentive during long periods of standing or walking Professional communication and conflict-resolution abilities Previous security experience preferred but not required Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Must pass any required background checks Valid driver's license #IND1.
