Job Description We are seeking a skilled Unified Capabilities (UC) NOC Technician 3 to join our mission-focused team at Scott Air Force Base, IL. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maximum availability of critical network systems supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations. As a UC NOC Technician, you will play a key role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network issues to ensure that communication networks are functioning at optimal levels for our nation's security. Key Responsibilities: Incident Management: Create, update, and resolve network issues using the Service Now platform, ensuring clear and efficient communication. Network Operations: Execute operations for configuration and analysis of customer circuits across Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) and Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) trunks. Customer Interaction: Collaborate directly with UC stakeholders and leaders to maximize network availability and minimize mission or operational impacts. Situational Awareness: Provide global situational awareness to leadership, ensuring they are informed of incidents, network status, and service restoration. Incident Documentation: Record, assess, track, and monitor incident tickets, and use incident management applications to document network incidents through their lifecycle. Network Monitoring: Proactively monitor alarms across platform-specific network management tools. Configuration Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on network configuration plans and profiles to ensure uninterrupted service. Resolution Recommendations: Assess network incidents and deficiencies, and recommend solutions or process improvements for UC and DRSN operations. Requirements Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
