Job Description
This physician role involves independently diagnosing and treating patients with acute conditions such as infections, injuries, and minor illnesses. The position requires a medical degree, 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, and board certification or eligibility in Family or Emergency Medicine. Prior experience in urgent care or emergency settings, along with adult and pediatric practice, is preferred. Key responsibilities include patient examinations, medical history documentation, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, treating minor injuries, and educating patients. Physicians may supervise physician assistants and nurse practitioners remotely and collaborate with up to four PAs/NPs during credentialing. The role involves working 8-12 hour shifts, with essential duties centered on patient care, diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up.
