These seven words define Rite Med Group.We see you as more than a provider--you're a person with goals, ideas, and purpose.From your first interview to your daily practice, you'll be supported as a valued member of our care team.We advocate for you and help create a work environment that fits your professional and personal needs.Position Overview:As a Urology Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide specialized genitourinary care to patients across assisted living throughout Queens, Long Island,Brooklyn and Bronx.This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered urological care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced in managing urological conditions commonly seen in geriatric and post-acute populations.Duties & Responsibilities:Provide on-site urological evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in assisted living, skilled nursing, and long-term care facilities.Assess and manage common urological conditions such as urinary tract infections (UTIs), urinary incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary retention, and catheter-related issues.Perform and manage urological procedures, including catheter insertion and changes, bladder scans, and post-void residual assessments.Monitor and manage patients with chronic urological conditions, including those requiring long-term catheterization or specialized care.Prescribe and manage medications related to urological health, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans.Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including physicians, nursing staff, and facility leadership, to develop and implement individualized care plans.Educate patients, families, and facility staff on urological health, preventive care, and management strategies.Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility-specific healthcare regulations.Support continuity of care by coordinating follow-ups, referrals to urologists when necessary, and ongoing treatment plans.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay:$155,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year Application Question(s):How soon are you able to start a new position?
