About the Role We are seeking a driven, detail-orientedQuality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Yard Specialist to support our automotive recycling and resale operations.This position is vital in ensuring that all of our recycled automotive parts meet our high quality standards through proper inspection, documentation, and inventory management.If you take pride in your work, enjoy learning, and don't need someone breathing down your neck to do a job well, this might be in your lane.Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive quality audits and inspections of recycled automotive parts to verify compliance with established standards.Perform quality control checks throughout the recycling process, identifying defects or inconsistencies.Inspecting, cleaning, photographing, and electronically documenting parts Tagging and preparing recycled OEM parts for sale Loading sold parts for distribution Unpack and process incoming freight from the parts network Stock and organize parts throughout the yard Perform inventory management, including scanning and verifying building locations Identify part types by manufacturer and application Operate a forklift (training provided if needed) Maintain accuracy, organization, and quality control standards at all times Support root cause analysis efforts for quality discrepancies and participate in problem-solving sessions.Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions for traceability and reporting purposes.What We're Looking For A positive, curious attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday Some automotive knowledge preferred, but not required Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable using a computer and smartphone for documentation and inventory Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Strong communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Why Work With Us?
