OverviewThe Mail Carrier plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses.This position requires a dedicated individual who can navigate various routes, handle heavy lifting, and maintain a high level of customer service.As a Mail Carrier, you will be responsible for transporting mail using various vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to safety protocols and delivery schedules.Responsibilities Deliver mail and packages to designated routes in a timely manner.Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring safe driving practices are followed.Load and unload mail and packages from the vehicle efficiently.Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that may arise.Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.Navigate routes effectively, utilizing maps or GPS systems as needed.Handle heavy lifting of packages as required during deliveries.Skills Experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred.Proficiency in route driving and manual transmission operation is advantageous.Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.Familiarity with warehouse operations can be beneficial.Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently while contributing to their community through reliable mail services.If you possess the necessary skills and dedication to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply!
