Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Utility Foreman to join our local union. In this vital role, you will support various aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Your hands-on experience and technical skills will contribute to the successful completion of complex infrastructure projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and precision. Duties Run crews locating, removing existing, and installing new underground utilities. Railroad experience a plus. Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment. Support project manager and Superintendent on site. scheduling activities using . Reading and interpreting construction schematics, blueprints, and technical documents not a requirement but a plus. Conduct quality control inspections on-site to verify adherence to safety standards, OSHA regulations, and project specifications. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with hands-on involvement in infrastructure projects involving pipelines or similar heavy civil work. Supervising or management experience in a construction environment is highly preferred. Prior experience with OSHA safety standards and implementing quality control measures on active sites is required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
