Engineering / Technical Analyst - Utility Operations Position Summary Hive+Co has a contract opportunity with our client in New Albany, Ohio, for an Engineering / Technical Analyst to perform intermediate-level technical work supporting the design, analysis, maintenance, and operation of utility equipment and facilities.This role plays a key part in ensuring data accuracy, system compliance, and operational efficiency across engineering and verification functions.Key Responsibilities Coordinate FAC-008 compliance and verification activities and provide status updates to leadership.Navigate and maintain asset and infrastructure databases.Review and interpret electrical one-line diagrams and physical/electrical prints.Manage project documentation, digital files, and photographic records.Upload and maintain verification documentation in internal systems.Ensure high levels of data accuracy and quality control.Support engineering, maintenance, and operations teams as needed.Essential Functions Apply technical knowledge to complete work efficiently and cost-effectively.Follow established procedures, policies, and safety standards.Provide guidance and training when appropriate.Organize workloads to meet deadlines and project timelines.Identify and resolve technical or process-related issues.Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.Demonstrate sound judgment and strong customer focus.Qualifications Associate Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Civil, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field (minimum 2-year technical degree).Minimum of 2 years of related utility or engineering experience.Experience reading electrical one-lines and engineering drawings.Strong computer literacy and file management skills.Attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and compliance.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Job Types:Full-time, Contract Pay:From $20.00 per hour Education:Associate (Required) Experience:Utility Industry:2 years (Required) Work Location:In person.
