Job Description
Position Overview GTI Energy is seeking a Value Stream Supervisor to lead end-to-end production flow across a defined manufacturing value stream. The Value Stream Supervisor will own throughput, quality, and delivery across system integration and assembly operations within a contract manufacturing environment. This Value Stream Supervisor role is responsible for optimizing flow, eliminating waste, and driving Continuous Improvement across the production line. Key Responsibilities Value Stream Ownership Own full value stream performance as a Value Stream Supervisor including throughput, quality, and delivery Lead system integration and assembly operations across mechanical and electrical builds Manage material flow, BOM execution, and production sequencing Lean Manufacturing & Process Optimization Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement Apply Six Sigma and structured problem solving including 5 Whys and Fishbone Lead Root Cause Analysis to eliminate recurring production issues KPI & Performance Management Track and improve KPIs including on-time delivery, inventory turns, throughput, safety, and quality Ensure ISO9001 compliance across production processes Improve operational efficiency and reduce waste across the value stream Leadership & Development Lead and develop teams within a contract manufacturing environment Promote accountability, safety, and operational discipline Support cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain Required Qualifications 3–7 years of experience as a Value Stream Supervisor, Production Supervisor, or Manufacturing Supervisor Experience in contract manufacturing or industrial manufacturing Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Experience with system integration and assembly operations Preferred Qualifications Engineering or fabrication background (industrial or mechanical) Experience with welding robots, automation, or electrical assembly Certified welder or electrician preferred
