Vascular Tech Registered - Outpatient Cardiology

Responsibilities: Performing noninvasive testing for evidence of peripheral vascular (arterial and venous), renal, aorta/iliac, and carotid artery disease. Preparing preliminary findings. Able to provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Qualifications: Education Graduate of an accredited registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Required Work Experience No experience required Required 2 years experience in a hospital inpatient, outpatient/ ambulatory setting as a vascular sonographer Preferred Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required Registered as one of the following: Upon Hire Required RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Vascular Technologist (RVT) through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Required or RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through the Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) Required or (VS) or Vascular Technology - Vascular Sonography Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography [RT(VS)] Required Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians
