Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Vascular Technician like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary And Qualifications The Vascular Tech works in conjunction with the Chief Tech, Imaging Manager, Director and Medical Staff to improve the patient and work flow via providing support, education and leadership to the technical staff. Perform sonography/vascular procedures as outlined by the State of Texas and departmental protocols, which include but are not limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services. What you will do in this role You will be responsible for the customer needs of the Ultrasound area of the Imaging Department. You will demonstrate knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment and policies - Hospital and Department - that are necessary for job performance, which include but are not limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services. You will collaborate with other department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives. You will maintain and achieve daily productivity and quality assurance standards set by management. You will need the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. You will need to communicate effectively both verbally and written. You will be authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas when completing a medication management orientation and when necessary to perform, the assigned duties. What qualifications you will need: College or technical training program, preferred Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) required Possess a detailed knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics Minimum one year experience in vascular ultrasound, preferred Medical City Dallas is recognized for its advanced medical facilities and commitment to excellence in patient care.
