Job Description
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited, to processing redemption cassettes and Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) cash cans, recording transactions, and verifying inventory, preparing cassettes and VGT cash cans for the technicians, as well as assisting in other areas as needed. Count Currency or ticket vouchers from VGT. Data entry of cash receipts including coding and filing. Managing the timely and accurate processing of cash collections. Separating or segregating currency. Communication with other departments. Packaging/unpackaging of currency. Strapping/unstrapping of currency. Maintaining inventory counts. Processing of coin. Complete required paperwork for accounting. Follow policy and procedures related to handling of assets. Keep Managing Director of Accounting and Finance informed of information regarding count room activities and irregularities. Research unidentified cash receipts. Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.Education and Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Prefer banking experience, or casino teller experience. Detailed oriented. Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler's License from the Illinois Gaming Board. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Ability to count large sums of currency. Ability to work Holidays if needed. Be able to work independently and as a member of team.
