Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Vault Technician to manage secure inventory and material control within our cannabis manufacturing facility.This role is responsible for vault organization, lot verification, inventory accuracy, and required count processes.The position works directly in Distru and uses METRC reporting to support compliance and executive inventory visibility.This is a compliance-driven role requiring accuracy, accountability, and strict adherence to SOPs and chain-of-custody procedures. Key Responsibilities Maintain secure vault and cage storage areas in an organized and compliant manner Manage package and inventory records directly in Distru (required system use) Perform monthly physical inventory counts of vault materials and finished goods Verify lot quantities against packaging records and Final QC counts Reject lots when counts do not match packaging or Final QC documentation and escalate per SOP Maintain a weekly cage status log pulled from METRC and submit summary reports to executives Record all vault transactions and adjustments accurately in Distru Support end-of-month inventory reconciliation and freeze procedures Coordinate with Compliance, Packaging, and Production teams on inventory status and holds Report variances, damaged goods, or documentation issues immediately Follow all vault security, compliance, and documentation SOPs Qualifications Candidate must have prior experience working in a warehouse or inventory-controlled environment Hands-on experience with Distru (preferred but not required) Experience working with METRC (required) Inventory, warehouse, or regulated production experience Strong attention to detail and record accuracy Comfortable following strict compliance procedures Efficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Basic spreadsheet and general computer skills Reliable and accountable METRC & Distru Experience Hands-on experience working in METRC for package and inventory tracking is required for this role Able to enter and review package, weight, and status data accurately in METRC Familiarity with Distru or other cannabis inventory and production software Able to update quantities and lot data in Distru Comfortable identifying and flagging system discrepancies Pay:$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Work Location:In person.
