Position: Power Platform Program Manager (Business Enablement) Location: Richmond, VA 23219 Client: Virginia Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: We are seeking a senior technical program manager to lead a Power Platform-focused program, overseeing a small team, governance, training, and adoption of low-code tools across the organization. This role partners with IT and business stakeholders, manages intake and prioritization of initiatives, and provides hands-on support for simple Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows when needed. The position requires strong communication and executive presentation skills, a track record of delivering secure, compliant solutions, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment. On-site presence is required three days per week in Richmond, VA, with local candidates preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage intake, prioritization, and resource allocation for program requests and initiatives Provide hands-on support by building/troubleshooting simple Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows Lead training, workshops, and adoption efforts to empower business users Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to leadership Establish governance, best practices, and lifecycle processes for low-complexity solutions Required Skills and Experience: 7+ years in technical program management, product ownership, or enterprise application delivery Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) Ability to build or troubleshoot simple Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows Strong leadership, coaching, and staff development capabilities Excellent communication and executive presentation skills Experience aligning solutions with governance, IT processes, and security/compliance Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Business, or related field Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, or Dataverse Certifications in Power Platform and Azure Experience implementing governance for low-code/no-code platforms Background in user training, adoption, or change management Public-sector or transportation-focused experience Experience leading and managing teams
