Vacation, sick days, and holidays.Role Overview:Spherion Staffing is looking for a dependable Vending Service Technician to maintain and repair micro-market kiosks, coolers, and automated vending equipment (food, snack, beverage, and coffee).You will be the face of the company's service and drive a company vehicle to client sites to ensure machines are fully functional, clean, and equipped.Key Responsibilities Technical Troubleshooting:Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions in food, snack, beverage, and high-end coffee machines.Micro-Market Support:Maintain and troubleshoot micro-market kiosks, including scanners, credit card readers, and remote monitoring software.System Upgrades:Install and configure modern vending features, such as cashless payment systems and interactive digital displays.Preventative Maintenance:Perform routine clean and shines, testing components to prevent future breakdowns and ensure food safety standards.Refrigeration & Mechanics:Address coin/bill jams, motor failures, and basic refrigeration issues (cooling fans, thermostats, etc.).Inventory & Tools:Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts in your company vehicle and safely operate hand/power tools (drills, meters, etc.).Customer Relations:Act as a professional representative of the company, communicating clearly with site managers regarding repair status and timelines.Required Qualifications Experience:Previous experience in equipment repair is required.Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, or basic refrigeration is highly preferred.Driving:Valid Class D Driver's License with a clean 5-year record.5years of driving experience preferred.Physical:Ability to lift 50 lbs.consistently and pass a DOT physical.Compliance:Must be 21and able to pass a criminal background check, credit check, and drug screen Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving independence and the ability to work without direct supervision.Working Conditions & Travel Service Area:Primarily North Metro and Twin Cities Metro.You will be responsible for a dedicated mobile route, ensuring consistent service for the company's customers.Commute & Flexibility:This is a start-from-home position.You will begin and end your workday from your residence in a company-provided vehicle, maximizing your efficiency and eliminating a daily office commute.Company HQ:Periodic travel to the main facility in Faribault, MN is required for team meetings, specialized training, and equipment pick-ups.Environment:Work occurs in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled offices, high-traffic breakrooms, and warehouse environments.On-Call Rotation & Bonus:To ensure 24/7 reliability for our clients, technicians participate in an on-call rotation approximately once a week, every two months.On-Call Incentive:You will receive a $500 bonus for the week you are on call, in addition to your base salary.Apply today or contact our office at 507-451-3400 for additional information.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
