The Verification Specialist is an integral part of the team, as our company works with the legal representatives of the elderly to obtain Nursing Home, In-home, and Assisted Living Medicaid benefits.Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:Requesting asset and income verification from various sources, following up on requests, obtaining, submitting and following up on various types of forms (form examples:Death Claims, Change of ownership/beneficiary, Account surrender forms, etc.).THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST POSSES A STRONG WORK ETHIC.Required Personal Qualities:The most important qualities by far are honesty, intelligence, work ethic, critical thinking skills, attention to detail, problem solving, the ability to work under pressure and a history of longevity in previous positions if any.Required Education:A college degree is not required but honesty and intelligence are must haves!
