Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineered Steel Building Erector and Supervisor to travel to various projects and lead the assembly and installation of complex steel structures.This role demands a deep understanding of metal building erection, and possesses the leadership skills to oversee a team of skilled tradespeople.You will be responsible for ensuring safety on steel construction projects.Bilingual and Latino are welcomed.Responsibilities Perform and supervise the erection of engineered steel structures, ensuring all work aligns with blueprints, schematics, and project plans.Coordinate daily activities on-site, managing crews involved in metal building erection, rebar installation, MSC roof, metal siding, and trim.Oversee the safe operation of heavy equipment and power tools necessary for steel assembly.Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction processes accurately.Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.Skills Extensive experience in metal building erection with MSC installation.Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate execution of projects.Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools.Familiarity with construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations.Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights or in challenging environments as required by large-scale steel projects.Job Types:Full-time, Contract Pay:From $40.00 per hour Expected hours:40 per week Benefits:Tools provided People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s):Must pass a periodic drug screening Experience:Metal building erection:3 years (Preferred) Language:Spanish (Preferred) Willingness to travel:50% (Required) Work Location:In person.
