SYNERGY HOMECARE – CAREGIVER (VA CLIENTS) Compensation $16.00 – $18.00 per hour Job Type Full-Time & Part-Time Experience Required Minimum 2 years of Veteran Caregiving or related Veteran experience required DESCRIPTION At SYNERGY HomeCare we only hire caregivers with heart who truly enjoy helping others live safely, happily, and independently in their homes. CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES As a Caregiver with SYNERGY HomeCare you will: Provide companionship and social engagement Assist with light housekeeping and home organization Prepare simple meals and assist with nutrition support Provide medication reminders Assist with errands or transportation when needed Help maintain a safe home environment Observe and report changes in client condition Communicate professionally with clients, families, and team members Document care and follow company care plans Caregivers are expected to provide consistent, respectful care that supports client independence and dignity. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants should have: At least 2 year of caregiving experience A compassionate and patient-centered attitude Strong reliability and attendance history Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Ability to pass background check and screening Ability to follow care plans and documentation requirements PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist clients during shifts Ability to assist with mobility support if needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required IDEAL CANDIDATES The most successful caregivers in our organization are individuals who are: Friendly Caring Compassionate Passion for Helping Others Veterans, military family members, and experienced caregivers are strongly encouraged to apply.
