Veterinarian

Lynn Animal Hospital, a full-service veterinary clinic in Glen Burnie, MD, is seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join our community-focused team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, preventive, and dental care to dogs and cats in a modern, well-equipped practice that emphasizes personalized treatment and strong client relationships. You will perform thorough physical examinations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, interpret laboratory and imaging results, and oversee all aspects of case management from initial visit through follow-up. Daily responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, vaccinations, parasite control, nutrition and behavior counseling, as well as managing sick visits and chronic conditions using evidence-based medicine. You will perform common soft tissue surgeries such as spays, neuters, and mass removals, manage anesthesia and pain control, and provide high-quality dental care, including oral health assessment and prophylactic cleanings. Clear, compassionate communication with clients is central to this position, as you will regularly explain diagnoses, review treatment options, obtain informed consent, and provide practical home-care instructions tailored to each pet and family. You will work closely with our skilled technicians and support staff in a collaborative environment that values respect, teamwork, and continuous learning, helping to maintain accurate medical records and ensure that patient care is safe, efficient, and low-stress.
