Veterinary Assistant

Cat excluisve work is very rewarding and a nice change from the hustle and bustle of a general veterinary clinic. Candidate should have at least one year of experience as a veterinary assistant. Comfort with handling/restraining feline patients and sensitivity to their special needs is a must! Responsibilities will include assisting the doctors in exam rooms and during surgery, taking radiographs, medical record keeping, computer applications, cleaning treatment and exam rooms, nursing care for hospitalized patients, in-house technical laboratory work and helping to educate clients on methods of medicine administration.
