Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of associate veterinarians and support staff to achieve excellence in patient care and hospital culture. Establish, implement, and uphold medical protocols to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with practice and regional management to set and achieve hospital and operational goals. Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-minded culture within the hospital team. Deliver outstanding client service, supporting the mission of compassionate, quality veterinary care. Champion professional development, mentorship, and an environment focused on work-life balance and growth. Effectively manage delegation, communication, and problem-solving to maintain operational excellence. Must-Have Skills: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university. Active Texas veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one). At least 5 years of veterinary practice experience preferred. Proven leadership and management skills with high emotional intelligence and professionalism. Strong commitment to ethical medical practice and clinical excellence. Exceptional communication and team-building abilities. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience mentoring veterinary teams or managing hospital operations. Knowledge of advanced surgical and diagnostic techniques (e.g., digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy). Familiarity with client relationship management and community partnership development. Engagement with continuing education and professional development programs. Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
