Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist or Technician, where your enthusiasm and expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their owners. In this multifaceted role, you will be the friendly face greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling essential medical procedures. Duties Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and professionalism Collect payments and perform accurate medical billing and collections Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures by handling animal restraint, administering treatments, and preparing necessary equipment Conduct laboratory tests, process samples, and maintain accurate medical records using veterinary terminology Perform animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, grooming, cleaning kennels, and ensuring animal comfort and safety Handle animal catheterization, aseptic techniques, and other critical care procedures with precision Support pet care activities including dog training, grooming, and general animal handling to promote well-being Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary clinics or animal care facilities is highly preferred; including kennel experience and pet grooming skills Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, restraint techniques, and laboratory procedures Hands-on experience with medical collection processes and laboratory testing is advantageous Familiarity with equine or large animal handling is a plus for clinics with diverse species Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Ability to perform animal catheterization, aseptic techniques, and critical care procedures confidently Passion for animal welfare combined with a proactive attitude to learn new skills in veterinary medicine Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional pet care while advancing your career in veterinary medicine!
