We care for you. Position Overview Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Within the veterinary field, this position aligns closely with roles often titled Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist. Trooper Veterinary Hospital in Eagleville, PA has been a trusted cornerstone community since 1963, earning AAHA accreditation since 1990 and Cat Friendly Certification — complete with a designated Cat Advocate on staff — as testaments to its unwavering commitment to clinical excellence. The six-doctor practice offers comprehensive care for cats, dogs, and small mammals, all within a warm, family-like atmosphere so exceptional that clients consistently remark they'll drive 35–40 minutes to come here rather than use a closer vet. Key Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations. Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments. Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being. Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products. Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts. Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records. Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions. Qualifications (Required) Experience in face to face client service. Has Customer service experience and a friendly, engaging personality Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience in Veterinary client service Some knowledge of, or background in, companion animal health Schedule 40 hour, Monday - Friday, set schedule will be offered and will typically include three 8AM-4PM days and two Noon-7:30PM days. Occasional Saturdays 7:45AM - 2:00PM will be needed and are typically offset with a day off during the week. No late nights, no Sundays, no major holidays.
