Vice President, Asset Management About the Company Accomplished real estate development & construction firm Industry Real Estate Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Asset Management team, which is pivotal in defining the strategic direction of the company's extensive portfolio of multifamily assets. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison, driving strategic decisions among property management, development, and joint venture equity partners. Key responsibilities include providing oversight of lease-ups, assisting with the disposition process, performing detailed reviews of operating agreements and loan documents, and benchmarking asset performance using proprietary analytical tools. The role also involves regular financial and operational reporting, clear communication of important information, and conducting site visits to evaluate property management, marketability, and physical conditions. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should hold a BA or MBA in real estate, finance, economics, or a related field, and have 5-10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in multifamily asset management, operations, or investments. The role requires a candidate with a strong work ethic, a demonstrated eagerness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling are essential. The Vice President will also be involved in annual business planning, monthly operating deficit forecasts, and will be expected to maintain strict confidentiality of company information.
