Vice President, Benefit Operations About the Company Flourishing healthcare & benefits services platform Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held, VC-backed About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to take on a senior leadership role with a focus on end-to-end operational delivery for government-sponsored and public sector benefits programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, scalability, and client satisfaction across complex, multi-jurisdictional contracts. This includes leading all core TPA operations, such as eligibility, enrollment, billing, claims administration, customer service, and vendor management. The VP will also be tasked with developing and implementing scalable operating models, overseeing government contract execution, and ensuring full compliance with a range of federal, state, and local regulations. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' experience in benefits administration, TPA operations, or managed care, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A deep understanding of health and welfare benefits administration and a proven track record in managing government contracts are essential. The role requires strong technical and functional expertise in claims and eligibility systems, TPA operating models, and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess executive presence, strong client-facing capabilities, and a strategic, hands-on approach to leadership.
