Vice President, Business Development About the Company Respected SaaS platform serving private country clubs & member clubs Industry Computer Software Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Business Development to take on a pivotal, player-coach role. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new revenue growth across private country clubs and member clubs, with a strong focus on refining the sales motion, mentoring the sales team, and owning key enterprise opportunities. This role is central to the company's next growth phase, and the VP will be expected to personally close high-value subscription deals, build and enforce sales processes, and develop territory strategies. A key aspect of the position is the ability to represent the company at various events and to partner closely with implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth handoffs. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years of full-cycle sales experience, with a proven track record in SaaS sales and at least 2 years of experience specifically in the private club or country club sector. The role requires a candidate with a strong hunter mentality, a player-coach background, and a demonstrated ability to build and implement repeatable sales methodologies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable selling to executive buyers, have a strong process orientation, and be willing to travel for business. The VP will play a critical role in shaping the company's sales organization and must be adept at driving the adoption of structured sales methodologies while maintaining a high level of CRM and pipeline discipline.
