Vice President, Claims Business Intelligence About the Company Reputable insurance company Industry Insurance Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a VP for Claims Business Intelligence to spearhead the advancement of analytics, reporting, and data capabilities within the Claims domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive data, analytics, and business intelligence strategy that is in line with enterprise priorities. This includes the development of a modern data and insights ecosystem to support smarter decision-making, operational efficiency, and measurable business impact. The role involves providing executive leadership, building and mentoring a high-performing global team, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The VP will also be instrumental in shaping the use of data, analytics, and emerging technologies to drive transformation within the Claims, Underwriting, and Actuarial functions. Applicants for the VP role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree being a plus, and at least 10 years of experience in the P&C insurance sector, particularly in analytics, data, or business intelligence, with a strong preference for direct Claims experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and scaling enterprise analytics or BI capabilities, leading large data transformation efforts, and a strong understanding of Claims data, performance metrics, and operational drivers. Hands-on experience with leading BI and analytics platforms and tools such as SQL, Python, or R is essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to influence senior leaders, and experience in deploying AI or machine learning solutions in operational settings.
