Vice President, Clinical Development About the Company Forward-thinking biotechnology company Industry Biotechnology Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Clinical Development to lead the global strategy for oncology programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of clinical development, including protocol design, execution, and data interpretation. This role requires a strong background in oncology, with an MD or MD/PhD and over 10 years of clinical development experience, at least 5 of which must be in pharma or biotech leadership. The VP will provide scientific and medical leadership for Phase I and late-stage clinical trials, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards, and drive cross-functional collaboration with various teams and external partners. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Clinical Development include contributing to regulatory submissions, monitoring and evaluating clinical data, and representing clinical development in both internal and external scientific engagements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and leading clinical trials, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to interpret complex clinical data to make strategic decisions. Excellent communication skills and experience in engaging with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders are essential.
