Vice President, Electrical Pre-Construction About the Company Well-regarded commercial electrical construction firm Industry Construction Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Chief Estimator or VP of Pre-Construction to lead its estimating and BIM teams. The successful candidate will be a strategic, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking leader with a passion for accuracy, innovation, and team leadership. Key responsibilities for this highly visible role include developing accurate and detailed cost estimates, participating in project budgeting and pursuit strategy, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the success of pre-construction operations. The role also involves mentoring and supporting the team, staying updated on the latest construction technologies, and identifying opportunities for prefab and lean construction. Applicants for the Chief Estimator or VP of Pre-Construction position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably in an estimating or pre-construction leadership role. A strong understanding of electrical systems and construction project lifecycles is essential, as is proficiency in estimating tools, Office 365, and various construction software. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented leader with excellent communication skills, a high level of organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
