Vice President, Finance About the Company Well-established multi-site healthcare system Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance to oversee the financial operations of a hospital community within its regional network. The successful candidate will be the senior finance leader for the community, providing strategic financial advice to the Hospital CEO and senior leadership team. This executive will be responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the finance function, including oversight of accounting, payroll, budgeting, and decision support functions. Key responsibilities also include cash management, financial planning, capital plan preparation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting and internal controls. Candidates for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA, MBA, or Master’s in a related field preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in senior financial leadership within a hospital or large healthcare organization is required, with a proven track record in financial strategy, budgeting, and operational performance improvement. The role demands an individual with executive-level healthcare finance leadership experience, a strong operational finance background, and the ability to drive performance metrics. Strategic partnership with clinical and operational teams, as well as knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, payer contracting, and regulatory compliance, are essential. The Vice President of Finance will also be expected to lead annual operating and capital planning processes, drive operational performance, and support system-wide finance initiatives.
