This executive will be a key strategic partner to the CFO, leading the annual and long-range financial planning processes and developing integrated strategic financial plans that align with the organization's success measures and key strategic objectives. The role requires a seasoned leader with a minimum of eight years' of senior management experience in a healthcare system or related field, and a strong background in finance, particularly in the FP&A function. The successful candidate will be well-versed in the healthcare industry, capable of using market trends to influence strategic planning, and adept at driving innovation while maintaining a focus on the organization's and community's success. The ideal candidate for the VP, FP&A position at the company will have a proven track record in strategic financial planning that supports population health goals and community wellness initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading the development of annual operating and capital budgets, as well as long-range financial plans, and ensuring their successful implementation across the system. The role demands a leader with a strong understanding of and demonstrated skills in various areas, including leadership, strategic and change management, communication, team building, continuous quality improvement, problem-solving, decision-making, and financial management. The VP, FP&A will also be expected to influence and generate consensus across organizational boundaries, and to have excellent communication skills for engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, from the executive team to external agencies.
