Job Description
Position Title Vice President for Global Affairs Position Summary The Vice President for Global Affairs is responsible for leading the organization’s international relations, global engagement, and cross-border strategic initiatives. This executive role focuses on managing global partnerships, geopolitical strategy, international communications, and multinational stakeholder relationships to support the organization’s worldwide objectives. The position plays a critical role in strengthening international presence, navigating global risks, and advancing enterprise influence across regions and markets. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead the organization’s global affairs strategy aligned with international business and policy objectives Build and maintain relationships with global partners, institutions, government entities, and international stakeholders Monitor geopolitical, regulatory, and economic developments affecting international operations and growth Advise executive leadership on global risk, international expansion, and cross-border strategic initiatives Support multinational partnerships, market entry initiatives, and international engagement programs Coordinate with legal, communications, strategy, compliance, and regional leadership teams on global matters Represent the organization in international forums, conferences, and executive-level engagements Oversee international communications, diplomatic positioning, and stakeholder management strategies Establish frameworks for global policy monitoring, strategic intelligence, and international issue management Build and lead a high-performing global affairs and international relations team Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred) 10+ years of experience in global affairs, international business, diplomacy, corporate strategy, or multinational operations Strong expertise in geopolitical analysis, international stakeholder management, and cross-border strategy Experience working with multinational organizations, governments, or international institutions Proven ability to navigate complex global business and regulatory environments Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and executive advisory skills Core Competencies Global Affairs and International Strategy Geopolitical and Regulatory Analysis International Relationship Management Cross-Border Business Coordination Executive Advisory and Diplomacy Strategic Communications and Influence Work Environment Corporate, multinational, institutional, or hybrid executive work environment Frequent interaction with international stakeholders, executives, and regional leadership teams May require international travel and participation in global events or negotiations
