Vice President, Global Logistics About the Company Respected manufacturing company Industry Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Global Logistics to spearhead a transformative and centralizing initiative across the NA, EMEA, and APAC regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for global network redesign, distribution footprint optimization, and orchestrating end-to-end material flow to achieve significant cost savings and operational efficiency. This role demands a leader who can standardize global operating practices, engineer for future growth, and drive logistics recovery with a focus on operational excellence. The VP will also be at the forefront of digital enablement, modernizing the technology core, and deploying advanced analytics for predictive operations. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Global Logistics at the company include leading a mindset shift towards a globally integrated network mentality, building a world-class logistics organization, and simplifying the partner landscape through strategic global agreements. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in global logistics, with a minimum of 7 years in industrial manufacturing, and a proven track record in transformational change, particularly in the areas of warehousing and transportation. Strong leadership skills, a background in process improvement, and a Bachelor's degree are essential. The role is pivotal in the company's mission to deliver predictability and execution discipline to its mission-critical customer base, and the VP will be instrumental in driving the company's global logistics strategy into the future.
