Job Description
Vice President, Growth Marketing About the Company Fast-growing D2C food & beverage company Industry Food & Beverages Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Growth to take on a pivotal role in owning and driving the entire growth engine. This is a hands-on position that goes beyond traditional channel management to encompass the full spectrum of growth responsibilities. The successful candidate will be tasked with architecting and running a modern DTC growth system, including paid acquisition, organic and founder-led growth, creative strategy, affiliate and partnerships, and lifecycle and retention. They will lead a cross-functional team and be directly accountable for new customer growth, CAC efficiency, and LTV expansion. Key responsibilities for the VP of Growth include designing and evolving growth playbooks, overseeing multi-million dollar annual spend on paid acquisition, and optimizing for contribution rather than vanity ROAS. The role also involves leading the creative strategy, building systems for high-volume UGC production, and partnering with content and founders to create scroll-stopping creative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DTC eCommerce growth, with a focus on CPG and VMS, and be an expert in building scalable growth systems. They should be a world-class creative strategist, with a deep understanding of DTC marketing metrics and experience in next-gen attribution tactics. Team leadership, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for health, food, and brand integrity are also essential. The VP of Growth at the company will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performance growth organization, setting clear KPIs, and fostering a culture of speed, ownership, and relentless iteration. The role requires a candidate with at least 6 years of DTC eCommerce growth experience, who is a team leader and people manager, and has a proven track record in driving channel-level performance. The ideal candidate will be deeply analytical, with the ability to model profitability and ROAS, and have a strong focus on retention and LTV expansion. Experience in the Shopify ecosystem, advanced DTC marketing metrics, and a passion for building a brand with integrity are also key attributes. Travel Percent Less than 10% Functions Marketing
