Vice President, Infrastructure About the Company Top-tier provider of financial services Industry Financial Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of Infrastructure to spearhead a strategic transition from a traditional on-premise and mainframe setup to a modern, cloud-first infrastructure. This pivotal role is focused on creating a robust technology foundation that is scalable, secure, and resilient, and will ultimately support the company's innovation and long-term growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year infrastructure transformation strategy, leading global teams, and establishing best practices for cloud governance, security, compliance, and cost management. Additionally, the role involves building strong partnerships with cloud providers and internal stakeholders, overseeing business continuity and disaster recovery planning, and driving the modernization of infrastructure services to enhance application agility and support digital business growth. Applicants for the Vice President of Infrastructure position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in IT infrastructure leadership, with a proven track record in modernizing large-scale enterprise environments. The role requires expertise in leading large-scale migrations to public or hybrid cloud platforms, and a strong understanding of networking, storage, mainframe operations, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise security. Experience in regulated industries is a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will have a history of building and leading high-performing global teams, possess executive presence, and demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills.
