The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and leading a comprehensive individual giving strategy that not only strengthens the organization's philanthropic foundation but also expands its donor base. This role is pivotal in stewarding long-standing relationships with leadership donors while actively cultivating the next generation of supporters. The Vice President will work closely with senior leadership, board members, and the Founder/CEO to align fundraising priorities with the strategic plan and programmatic needs. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, as well as team leadership and internal collaboration to enhance development operations and systems. Applicants for the Vice President of Advancement position at the company should be warm, engaging, and strategic leaders with 8-10 years of relevant nonprofit fundraising experience. The role requires a deep passion for educational equity and a genuine belief in the company's mission and model. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in major gift fundraising, be an experienced mentor and team leader, and possess strong communication and relationship-building skills. They must be adept at working with high net worth individuals and board members, and be able to represent the organization with confidence, warmth, and humility.
