Job Description Vice President of Development - Cheyenne, WY (Remote) About Ajmera Realty & Infra India Ltd. Ajmera Realty & Infra India Ltd. is a pioneering real estate and infrastructure firm dedicated to building the next generation of urban environments. We specialize in developing secure, scalable, and premium residential and commercial solutions that empower communities to navigate the complexities of the modern economy. As we accelerate our global growth, we are establishing Fractionera, a new U.S.-based subsidiary focused on driving innovation in the real estate tech and digital asset space, expanding our footprint in the North American market. Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President of Development. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for the developmental stewardship of our global initiatives while serving as the founding development lead for our new U.S. subsidiary, Fractionera. You will play a vital role in building the local project pipeline, ensuring operational excellence, and providing the strategic insights necessary to support our expansion and long-term sustainability in the North American real estate sector. Core Responsibilities Subsidiary Development Setup: Direct the establishment of Fractionera’s development operations in the U.S., including project management frameworks, vendor networks, and localized planning systems. Developmental Governance: Develop and oversee project lifecycles, feasibility studies, and long-range urban planning to ensure alignment with Ajmera Realty’s global strategic roadmap. Compliance & Entitlements: Ensure all U.S. development activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, overseeing zoning approvals, environmental assessments, and building permits. Project Execution & Delivery: Manage the end-to-end delivery of high-value assets, optimizing construction timelines, and overseeing the integration of sustainable and smart-building technologies. Strategic Decision Support: Provide the executive team with rigorous market analysis and ROI modeling to guide land acquisition, investment decisions, and market entry strategies. Cross-Border Integration: Synchronize development reporting and resource allocation between our global headquarters in India and the U.S. entity to maintain organizational cohesion. Qualifications Senior Leadership Experience: 15+ years of progressive real estate development experience within Real Estate, Infrastructure, or PropTech, with at least 10 years in an executive leadership capacity. U.S. Market Proficiency: Deep expertise in U.S. real estate laws, construction standards, and entitlement processes; experience in scaling a startup or launching a regional subsidiary is highly valued. Operational Rigor: Strong ability to synthesize complex project data into clear, actionable development strategies for the board and institutional stakeholders. Technical Domain Knowledge: Proficiency with modern Project Management software and a strong understanding of smart infrastructure or blockchain-integrated real estate ecosystems. Exceptional Communication: Capable of representing the company professionally to government authorities, joint-venture partners, and global investors. Educational Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field; MBA or PMP certification is strongly preferred. Why Join Us?
