Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization. The VP of Engineering will be responsible for defining the technical vision, driving engineering excellence, and building high-performing teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative products. This role works closely with executive leadership, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure engineering strategy aligns with overall business goals while maintaining strong technical standards and operational efficiency. NextGen Technology Leader (10+ years) Soft skills: Leadership, Communication, Working grounded with the technical teams daily. Outcome driven Technical Skills: Worked with Microservices, APIs and Event driven architecture systems, Data migration from legacy platforms, Streaming services like Kafka Domain Skills: Healthcare (Preferably UM / CM domain) Core technologies: Python, Large Lang models, Postgres / SQL equivalent, Angular / React UX based digital platforms Must have skills to work AI engineering tools like Claude, Replit, OpenAI. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 12–18+ years of experience in software engineering 5–8+ years in engineering leadership roles Proven experience leading large engineering teams and delivering complex products Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud platforms Leadership Competencies Strategic thinking and technology vision Strong people leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and executive presence Data-driven decision making Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities
