Role Description This full-time, remote role of Vice President of Finance and Operations focuses on overseeing financial planning, managing financial reporting, and optimizing operational processes. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, developing strategic financial plans, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. The role involves collaboration with team members to align finance and operations with the overall objectives of the magazine. Qualifications Strong Financial Planning skills, including forecasting, budget management, and fiscal strategy development Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting Strong proficiency in Finance in addition to well-developed Analytical Skills to support data-informed decision-making Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as financial management systems and spreadsheets Experience in publishing or nonprofit organizations is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus)
